About Us:
Juliet Bake House is a well-known bakery in Bahrain, dedicated to creating high-quality breads, pastries, and desserts with consistency in taste, texture, and presentation. We are looking for an Executive Pastry Chef (Head Baker) who can also oversee quality assurance to ensure every product meets our standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily preparation of breads, pastries, and specialty baked items.
- Develop and refine recipes while ensuring cost control and quality.
- Oversee quality checks on raw materials, production processes, and finished products.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards (FIFO, storage, temperature control, and cleanliness).
- Train, supervise, and motivate the bakery team to maintain high standards.
- Manage inventory and coordinate purchasing needs with management.
- Contribute to menu development and introduce seasonal product innovations.
- Prepare daily production and quality reports for management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7+ years of professional baking and pastry experience.
- Strong knowledge of bread, pastry, and dessert preparation techniques.
- Experience in quality assurance within food production is an advantage.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and inspire a team.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
