Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our construction and real estate development team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will manage project costs, prepare accurate estimates, and ensure financial efficiency throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
• Develop cost estimates and project budgets
• Monitor and control project costs during construction
• Prepare interim and final valuations
• Manage and reconcile variations and claims
• Process and evaluate change orders with accurate cost implications
• Calculate material quantities for different project phases
• Track project progress and measure work completed
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors
• Ensure compliance with standards, codes, and regulations

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
• 5–7 years of proven experience in civil engineering or construction projects
• GCC experience in residential, commercial, and high-rise projects is required
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and building materials
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software such as WinQS, CCS, or similar tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
