Junior Mechanical Engineer – Quantity Surveyor (MEP Construction)

A reputed construction company in Bahrain is hiring a Junior Mechanical Engineer – Quantity Surveyor with specialization in MEP construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical works for MEP projects, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems
• Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to ensure compliance with codes and standards
• Monitor site activities, ensuring proper installation, testing, and commissioning of systems
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams for smooth execution
• Conduct quality inspections, enforce safety rules, and maintain project timelines
• Assist in preparing material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 6–8 years of experience in MEP construction projects (Gulf experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water systems, plumbing, and firefighting systems
• Skilled in AutoCAD and MEP-related software
• Strong project management, communication, and teamwork abilities
