Diesel Mechanic – Manama, Bahrain

We are hiring a skilled Diesel–Petrol and Power Tools Mechanic to join our team in Manama. The right candidate should have hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel and petrol engines, along with construction and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel and petrol engines, generators, compressors, and other equipment.
• Service and repair light vehicles, 6-wheel trucks, minibuses, and construction equipment such as JCB, Bobcat, jackhammer, roller, air compressor, generator, and plate compactor.
• Inspect and troubleshoot power tools like drills, grinders, and saws.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Carry out overhauls, replace parts, and calibrate systems when required.
• Keep accurate service records and ensure all tools meet safety standards.
• Provide timely mechanical support to site teams.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 7–10 years of experience in repairing diesel/petrol engines and power tools.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical components of small equipment.
• Ability to diagnose problems quickly and deliver effective repair solutions.
• Prior GCC work experience in the construction industry is required.
• Valid Bahrain driving license.
• Good communication skills, ability to work independently, and flexibility to work in site environments under pressure.
