A growing company in Bahrain is looking for a skilled Accountant cum HR professional. This role requires strong accounting knowledge along with HR and administrative experience.
Position Details:
- Job Title: Accountant cum HR
- Location: Manama, Bahrain
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Salary: BHD 200 – 300 per month
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Publish financial statements on time
- Ensure timely bank payments and tax filings
- Manage balance sheets and profit & loss statements
- Audit financial documents and maintain data confidentiality
- Use accounting software (Tally required, Zoho Books preferred)
- Work on HR-related tasks, including visa processing and Tamkeen procedures
- Assist with recruitment, payroll, and general HR administration
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting
- Knowledge of GAAP and accounting regulations
- Proficiency in Tally; knowledge of Zoho Books, FreshBooks, or QuickBooks is an advantage
- Strong MS Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables)
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Knowledge of HR procedures, including visa processing, payroll, and Tamkeen
- Additional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and fluency in English
