A growing company in Bahrain is looking for a skilled Accountant cum HR professional. This role requires strong accounting knowledge along with HR and administrative experience.

Position Details:

  • Job Title: Accountant cum HR
  • Location: Manama, Bahrain
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Salary: BHD 200 – 300 per month

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping
  • Prepare budgets and financial forecasts
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Publish financial statements on time
  • Ensure timely bank payments and tax filings
  • Manage balance sheets and profit & loss statements
  • Audit financial documents and maintain data confidentiality
  • Use accounting software (Tally required, Zoho Books preferred)
  • Work on HR-related tasks, including visa processing and Tamkeen procedures
  • Assist with recruitment, payroll, and general HR administration

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting
  • Knowledge of GAAP and accounting regulations
  • Proficiency in Tally; knowledge of Zoho Books, FreshBooks, or QuickBooks is an advantage
  • Strong MS Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables)
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Knowledge of HR procedures, including visa processing, payroll, and Tamkeen
  • Additional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and fluency in English
