HR & Government Relations Officer

We are looking for an experienced HR & Government Relations Officer to join our team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Bahrain labor law and hands-on experience managing government portals such as LMRA, NPRA, MOL, SIO, and Sijilat.

This role focuses on handling employee-related government services, legal documentation, visa processing, and ensuring full compliance with Bahrain regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily transactions through LMRA, NPRA, MOL, SIO, and Sijilat portals
  • Process work permits, employment visas, renewals, transfers, and cancellations
  • Handle CPR updates, residency permits, and immigration procedures
  • Manage SIO registrations, employee updates, monthly contributions, and de-registrations
  • Maintain company records and CR updates through the Sijilat system
  • Ensure compliance with Bahrain labor law and government regulations
  • Coordinate with government authorities for approvals, inspections, and official processes
  • Prepare official letters, applications, and government documentation
  • Monitor important deadlines such as visa expiry, CR renewals, and SIO payments
  • Maintain accurate employee files and confidential records
  • Resolve issues related to government systems, employee status, and documentation

Requirements

  • Proven experience in HR operations or Government Relations in Bahrain
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • LMRA system
    • NPRA immigration procedures
    • MOL services
    • SIO system
    • Sijilat portal
  • Good understanding of Bahrain labor law and employment regulations
  • Ability to manage government portal tasks independently
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage
