Chief Accountant – Retail & Food & Beverage Division

We are hiring an experienced Chief Accountant with strong cost control and forecasting experience in the Retail and Food & Beverage industry. The ideal candidate will lead the accounting operations, manage financial reporting, improve cost efficiency, and support business growth through accurate financial management and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all accounting operations for the Retail and F&B division, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory accounting, and fixed assets
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with accounting standards and company policies
  • Handle month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently and on time
  • Monitor budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis to support management decisions
  • Control operational costs, profit margins, inventory costs, and overall financial performance across retail stores and F&B outlets
  • Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve profitability and reduce unnecessary expenses
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory requirements, financial regulations, and audit procedures
  • Develop and maintain strong internal controls, accounting systems, and financial procedures
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor the accounting team to maintain high performance and accuracy
  • Coordinate with operations, procurement, and management teams for smooth financial operations
  • Support ERP system implementation, accounting software improvements, and process automation initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is preferred
  • Minimum 7–10 years of accounting experience, including 3–5 years in a senior accounting or finance management role
  • Strong experience in Retail and Food & Beverage accounting
  • Hands-on experience in forecasting, budgeting, inventory management, and cost controlling for the F&B industry
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting standards, tax compliance, and audit processes
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
