HA Technician

We are hiring a skilled Home Automation Technician to install, maintain, and support smart home automation systems. The role focuses on ensuring reliable system performance, customer satisfaction, and high-quality technical service.

Job Summary

The HA Technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining home automation systems. This includes smart lighting, security systems, HVAC controls, and entertainment systems. The role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure home automation systems such as lighting control, security systems, HVAC automation, and entertainment solutions
• Ensure all systems are properly installed, tested, and working according to customer requirements
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and system diagnostics for optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in smart home devices and automation systems
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide clear guidance on system usage and features
• Train customers on how to operate home automation systems effectively
• Assist with software updates, upgrades, and system integration tasks
• Suggest system improvements based on customer needs and site conditions
• Maintain accurate records of installations, service reports, and customer interactions
• Prepare reports on system performance and issues resolved
• Coordinate with sales and project teams to meet project specifications and deadlines
• Stay updated with the latest trends in home automation, IoT systems, and smart technologies through training and team meetings

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in electronics, electrical systems, telecommunications, or a related field is preferred
• 2–5 years of experience in home automation, electrical work, or low-voltage systems
• Strong hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Good understanding of electrical wiring and smart control systems
• Ability to work independently and in different site environments
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to solve technical problems quickly and effectively
