Petroleum Engineer

We are hiring an experienced Petroleum Engineer to manage the installation, maintenance, and technical support of fuel dispensing systems across fuel station sites in Bahrain. The role focuses on Wayne fuel dispensers, ensuring safe, accurate, and reliable operations of fuel station equipment and automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service fuel dispensing systems and automation equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fuel dispensers.
• Conduct regular inspections, testing, and calibration to ensure accurate fuel dispensing.
• Upgrade dispenser software and configure system settings as required.
• Integrate fuel dispensers with POS systems, tank gauging systems, and ATG units.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to reduce system downtime.
• Maintain service records, work orders, and maintenance logs accurately.
• Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns and technical service requests.
• Ensure all work follows safety standards and company engineering procedures.
• Coordinate with suppliers and technical support teams for spare parts and system updates.
• Support clients with operational needs and technical guidance.
• Assist with sales support and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering.
• 6–7 years of experience working with Wayne fuel dispenser systems.
• Experience in fuel station automation, forecourt systems, or vapor recovery systems is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of RS-485 communication, IFSF protocols, and dispenser configuration tools.
• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Experience with AutoCAD, BOQ preparation, and technical troubleshooting.
• Strong skills in fault diagnosis, system repair, and field service engineering.
• Basic computer skills for reporting, firmware updates, and system configuration.
