Land Surveyor – Building Construction Company in Manama, Bahrain

A leading real estate development and construction company in Manama, Bahrain is hiring a Land Surveyor. This role involves conducting accurate land surveys, creating maps, and providing critical survey data for various projects. A strong understanding of surveying techniques and equipment is essential, as well as the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform field surveys using equipment like total stations, GPS receivers, and levels.
• Gather precise data including topography, boundary lines, elevations, and locations of existing structures.
• Ensure all survey data is accurate and reliable.
• Analyze field data using surveying software.
• Prepare maps, plats, legal descriptions, and reports based on the survey data.
• Calculate areas, volumes, and other quantities.
• Provide survey support for construction, engineering, and land development projects.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals.
• Conduct boundary surveys and stakeout locations.
• Ensure all surveys comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Research and interpret land records and legal documents.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Diploma, Associate’s Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience as a Land Surveyor.
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment.
• Proficiency with surveying software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or Trimble Business Center.
• Ability to read and interpret maps, plats, and legal descriptions.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Experience with topographic, boundary, and construction surveys is a plus.
