Job Overview:
A leading real estate developer in Bahrain is looking for a Junior Planning Engineer to support construction projects. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in project scheduling, planning, and progress tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or other planning tools.
- Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) based on construction drawings.
- Set work programs and target milestones for each project phase.
- Update work schedules, track progress, and highlight any delays or issues.
- Identify project risks and suggest solutions to avoid delays.
- Prepare progress reports and presentations for management.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Analyze project data to track trends and spot potential problems.
- Assist in resource planning and cost management.
- Monitor project budget and identify possible cost overruns.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis to evaluate the impact of schedule changes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in project planning, preferably in high-rise building projects.
- Strong understanding of construction planning and scheduling.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software.
- Analytical mindset with great attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
