The ideal candidate will manage materials and equipment efficiently, ensuring smooth operations at the construction site. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect all materials upon delivery.
  • Verify materials against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Check for any damages and report discrepancies.
  • Store materials safely to prevent damage or theft.
  • Keep the storage area clean and organized.
  • Maintain accurate records of material issuances.
  • Ensure materials are issued only to authorized personnel.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and update inventory records.
  • Monitor material usage to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely material deliveries.
  • Follow safety regulations and maintain a hazard-free storage area.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a storekeeper in construction.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, inventory software).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must have GCC work experience.
  • Valid GCC driving license required.
