Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Marine Mason to construct, repair, and maintain masonry structures on marine vessels and facilities in Manama, Bahrain. The role involves working on bulkheads, flooring, walls, and other structural elements. If you have experience in masonry and can work in different environments, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and repair bulkheads, floors, walls, and other masonry structures on marine vessels and facilities.
• Mix and apply mortar or grout on surfaces.
• Cut, shape, and align bricks, tiles, and concrete blocks using hand and power tools.
• Inspect and replace damaged structures and fixtures.
• Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and building plans.
• Work closely with marine engineers and other tradesmen to complete projects.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven masonry experience, preferably in a marine environment.
• Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Good physical stamina and hand-eye coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with safety regulations in masonry work.
• Willingness to work in varied locations, including onboard ships.
