A well-established food company with multiple outlets across the Kingdom is seeking a Central Kitchen Manager to lead and manage their kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide hands-on leadership in daily kitchen operations
- Foster a positive and collaborative environment
- Mentor and supervise kitchen staff for optimal performance
- Menu Development and Innovation:
- Collaborate with the team to develop and innovate menu items
- Ensure consistency and quality of menu items
- Operational Excellence:
- Oversee food preparation, production, and distribution
- Ensure efficient service and implement optimized workflows
- Inventory and Purchasing Management:
- Manage orders, inventory, and procurement processes
- Monitor food costs, minimize waste, and maximize profitability
- Production Planning and Execution:
- Create production schedules and assign tasks
- Ensure accurate fulfillment of orders
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure adherence to food safety regulations
- Implement quality control measures
- Administrative and Computer Proficiency:
- Utilize software for inventory management and production planning
- Communication:
- Communicate clearly with team members, suppliers, and other departments
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Central Kitchen Manager
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge
- Excellent leadership, team management, and organizational abilities
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Proficiency in computer applications (inventory, spreadsheets)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
