Job Opening: Junior Planning Engineer – Real Estate Development in Manama, Bahrain

A leading real estate developer in Bahrain is looking for a Junior Planning Engineer to join their construction division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or other scheduling software
• Prepare the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) based on the construction drawings
• Set work programs and target milestones for each project phase
• Update and submit progress reports and identify areas for recovery, if necessary
• Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Prepare progress reports and presentations for stakeholders
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution of tasks
• Analyze project data to identify trends and potential issues
• Assist in resource allocation and leveling to optimize project efficiency
• Track project progress against baseline schedules and identify deviations
• Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of changes on project timelines
• Monitor project costs and identify any potential cost overruns

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of project planning and scheduling principles
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or other scheduling software
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
