Senior Quantity Surveyor (Tendering) – Bahrain

A leading contracting company in Bahrain is hiring a skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for its Tendering Department.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities for tender submissions.
• Review and analyze contract documents, ensuring they meet project requirements.
• Conduct cost analysis and suggest value engineering options to manage budgets.
• Work closely with the procurement team to get competitive pricing from suppliers.
• Review subcontractor quotations and negotiate the best possible terms.
• Support contract administration and help assess risks related to tenders.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in quantity surveying and tendering within the construction industry.
• Good understanding of FIDIC contracts and Bahrain’s local construction regulations.
• Skilled in cost estimation software and MS Office.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
