Job Overview

We are urgently hiring a Safety Officer (HSE) for our factory in Sanabis, Bahrain. This role is only open to Indian candidates with relevant experience in factory safety and compliance.

As the Safety Officer, your main responsibility is to ensure the workplace follows Bahrain Labour Law and all local health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Compliance & Regulations

• Ensure full compliance with Bahrain Labour Law (Decree No. 36 of 2012).
• Stay updated on all new safety laws and HSE regulations in Bahrain.

✅ Risk Identification & Prevention

• Spot potential hazards (chemical, mechanical, electrical, etc.).
• Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend safety improvements.

✅ Safety Inspections

• Inspect factory equipment and machinery regularly.
• Make sure fire extinguishers, alarms, and emergency tools are working properly.

✅ Incident Management

• Report and document any accidents or near-misses.
• Investigate incidents and suggest steps to prevent future issues.

✅ Staff Training & Safety Culture

• Conduct safety training for all employees (fire drills, PPE use, first aid).
• Encourage a culture of workplace safety across all teams.

✅ Enforce Safety Rules

• Make sure staff wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Apply disciplinary action for any safety violations.

✅ Emergency Preparedness

• Create and manage emergency plans (fire, chemical spills, evacuation).
• Work with emergency services when required.

✅ Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate safety logs and injury records.
• Prepare regular safety reports for management and inspections.

✅ Government Liaison

• Coordinate with Bahrain’s Labour Ministry and HSE inspectors during audits.

✅ Environmental Safety

• Ensure safe disposal of hazardous waste.
• Follow environmental safety standards and sustainability practices.
