Junior Purchaser – Admin (Construction Company in Bahrain)

We are a well-established construction company in Bahrain looking for a Junior Purchaser with admin experience to support our procurement and administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone organized, proactive, and familiar with construction-related purchasing.

What You’ll Do

  • Purchase construction materials, equipment, and tools as needed by the project team
  • Communicate with local and GCC vendors to get quotes, compare prices, and arrange timely deliveries
  • Maintain accurate purchase orders, inventory records, and delivery schedules
  • Prepare and review purchase requests, comparative statements, and approval documents
  • Work closely with the project, store, and accounts departments to keep procurement smooth and efficient
  • Track material usage and ensure timely procurement to match project timelines
  • Handle all paperwork and documentation related to purchasing and admin tasks
  • Follow internal company policies and project-specific procurement guidelines

What We’re Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of purchasing experience in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction materials and GCC vendor markets
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and procurement software
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
