Senior Accountant (Female) – Riffa, Bahrain

A leading group company in Riffa, Bahrain is seeking a qualified Senior Accountant (Female) to independently manage all accounting and financial operations of its Trading and Contracting Division. This is a local recruitment; candidates must be currently residing in Bahrain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify invoices and process supplier payments.
  • Follow up with customers and perform customer and supplier reconciliations.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of GL and sub-ledgers.
  • Conduct ageing analysis of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory.
  • Verify and post receipts and payments.
  • Perform bank account reconciliations and intercompany account reconciliations.
  • File VAT returns and maintain the assets register.
  • Manage petty cash and liaise with internal divisions, banks, and external auditors.
  • Handle accounts up to finalization and report to the Finance Manager.

Requirements:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Commerce.
  • Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, including at least 5 years as a Senior Accountant.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Nationality: Indian.
  • Age: 35–45 years.
  • Must be available locally in Bahrain.
