About the Role

A prestigious construction company in Bahrain is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to ensure workplace safety and compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety management and hold a NEBOSH certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for construction sites
• Monitor and enforce safety regulations and compliance
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments
• Investigate accidents and incidents, providing reports and recommendations
• Train staff on occupational health and safety practices
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain records of safety activities and reports

Requirements

• NEBOSH certification mandatory
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in a construction company
• Strong knowledge of Bahrain construction safety regulations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to enforce safety standards and work proactively
