Electrical Engineer – Manama, Bahrain

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, coordinate, and oversee electrical systems for complex building projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and draft electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
• Perform calculations for load, voltage drop, short circuit, and lighting levels.
• Prepare detailed specifications, technical reports, and construction documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical and plumbing teams to ensure integrated and efficient system designs.
• Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Provide technical support throughout the construction process.
• Stay updated on electrical codes, industry standards, and best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical design within the MEP industry.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and electrical standards.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or BIM tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and collaboration.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with renewable energy systems, building automation, or data centers.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and certifications.
• Experience preparing bids and cost estimates.
