Accountant – Mid Level (Retail & Wholesale, Food Industry)

A leading FMCG company in Bahrain is hiring a Mid-Level Accountant with experience in retail and wholesale operations. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting practices within the food distribution sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Handle inventory accounting and cost control for retail and wholesale food products.
• Prepare internal audit reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist management with financial analysis and reporting for decision-making.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an FMCG distribution company in Bahrain.
• Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com) required.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, Tally, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Good command of English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
