A leading FMCG company in Bahrain is hiring a Mid-Level Accountant with experience in retail and wholesale operations. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting practices within the food distribution sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Handle inventory accounting and cost control for retail and wholesale food products.
- Prepare internal audit reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist management with financial analysis and reporting for decision-making.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an FMCG distribution company in Bahrain.
- Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com) required.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, Tally, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Good command of English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
