Bartender – Manama, Bahrain

We are seeking an energetic and skilled Bartender with hospitality and bar experience to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. The ideal candidate will prepare and serve beverages, manage inventory, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and guest preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, equipment, and glassware
• Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and conduct regular stock counts
• Minimize wastage and ensure proper use of bar products
• Comply with local laws, hotel policies, and safety regulations regarding alcohol service
• Assist in creating new cocktail menus, seasonal drinks, and promotions
• Provide excellent guest service, handle requests, and resolve complaints professionally
• Train junior bar staff and maintain service standards
• Process guest orders, payments, and maintain accurate records
• Participate in daily briefings and contribute to a positive team culture

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Bartender in hospitality
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail preparation
• Experience in inventory management and cost control
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Guest-focused with a passion for hospitality
• Ability to work under pressure in busy environments
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• POS system and cash handling knowledge; alcohol service certification is a plus
