Business Development & IT Specialist – Gudaibiya, Bahrain

We are looking for a skilled Business Development & IT Specialist to join our team in Gudaibiya, Bahrain. This role combines IT management with business development responsibilities to support two business operations: AlShakar Tailoring House and the Weave App platform.

Working Hours: 6 days a week, 8-hour shifts
Salary: BD 650 – 750 (based on qualifications and experience)

Key Responsibilities

AlShakar Tailoring House (IT Responsibilities):

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot current software systems.
• Implement, configure, and support new software solutions.
• Develop, update, and maintain company websites.
• Handle IT operations including hardware, software, networking, cybersecurity, data backup, and technical support.
• Adapt to evolving technology needs and perform additional IT-related duties as required.

TryWeave (Business Development Responsibilities):

• Onboard new vendors to the Weave App platform.
• Train vendors on how to use the app (product uploads, pricing, and inventory management).
• Monitor vendor activity and ensure product listings are accurate and professional.
• Promote the platform through sales outreach, social media, and marketing campaigns.
• Act as the main contact for vendors regarding sales, orders, payments, and technical concerns.
• Ensure all listings meet the app’s content and quality standards.
• Conduct market research to track trends, competitor activities, and vendor needs.
• Provide regular reports on vendor performance, app engagement, and sales growth.

Requirements:

• Strong background in IT systems, website management, and technical troubleshooting.
• Experience in business development, sales, or vendor management.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Knowledge of digital platforms, e-commerce, and app-based vendor management is preferred.
