Civil Draftsman

A top real estate developer and construction firm in Bahrain is hiring a Civil Draftsman to support our project teams and help deliver quality construction projects on time.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D civil engineering drawings, including site plans, grading, utilities (water, sewer, drainage), roads, and structural details.
• Collaborate closely with civil engineers and project managers to understand design needs and project specifications.
• Ensure all drawings meet industry standards, local codes, and project requirements.
• Update and revise drawings based on feedback, design changes, or site conditions.
• Organize and maintain drawing files and project documentation.
• Assist with quantity take-offs and material lists from drawings.
• Keep accurate records of drawing versions and revisions.
• Prepare as-built drawings when projects are complete.
• Help develop drawing templates and libraries to improve work efficiency.
• Participate in design review meetings to provide drafting insights.
• Support preparation of drawings and documents for permit applications.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma or certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• Proven experience as a civil draftsman, preferably with high-rise and villa projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (essential).
• Experience with Revit, SketchUp, or similar software is a plus.
• Good understanding of civil engineering principles and drafting standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Able to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.
• Good communication skills.
