Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Vehicles & Equipment (Bahrain)

A leading company in Bahrain is looking for a skilled Diesel–Petrol and Power Tools Mechanic to join their team. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy vehicles, diesel/petrol engines, and industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair diesel and petrol engines, generators, compressors, and heavy equipment
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain power tools (grinders, drills, saws, etc.)
• Carry out preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns
• Perform overhauls, part replacements, and calibration work
• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety standards
• Support site teams with timely mechanical solutions

Requirements:

• Diploma/Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 5–10 years of experience in diesel/petrol engine and equipment repair
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and small equipment electrical components
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently
• Flexible to work at sites and under pressure
