Job Summary:

We are hiring a skilled Accountant to manage job-specific financial tracking and reporting for our fire and safety projects, including design, installation, service, and maintenance. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that funds are properly allocated, costs are controlled, and profitability is clearly monitored.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Project-Based Accounting

  • Track income and expenses for each fire and safety job
  • Maintain separate accounts per project for accurate reporting
  • Allocate client payments to relevant projects

2. Expense Management

  • Monitor daily job-related costs (materials, labor, logistics)
  • Ensure funds are used according to each project’s budget
  • Handle petty cash with proper logging

3. Income and Cash Flow

  • Record daily income from service activities
  • Manage client payments and deposit schedules
  • Maintain up-to-date cash flow and income records

4. Reconciliation & Reporting

  • Reconcile project accounts daily
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports on project performance
  • Highlight cost variances and provide profitability analysis

5. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Develop detailed micro-budgets for individual jobs
  • Recommend cost-saving strategies without compromising quality

6. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure financial activities follow Bahrain’s accounting laws
  • Maintain clear records: receipts, invoices, project files
  • Assist in VAT filing and ensure timely tax submissions

7. Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with project managers and operations teams
  • Coordinate vendor payments and supply chain expenses
  • Follow up with clients on overdue payments

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in project-based accounting
  • Familiarity with accounting software (Zoho Books, Excel)
  • Knowledge of VAT compliance in Bahrain
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
