Experienced Accountant – Manama, Bahrain

A leading company in Bahrain is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join its finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial operations, regulatory compliance, and accounting best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable/Receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with Bahrain laws, VAT regulations, and internal financial policies.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports and statements for management review.
  • Assist with internal and external audits and liaise with auditors.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain proper records and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, including experience in Bahrain.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial regulations.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Currently available to work in Bahrain.
