Factory Supervisor – Aluminum & Glass Processing, Manama

A company in Manama, Bahrain is urgently hiring a Factory Supervisor to oversee daily production activities in its aluminum and glass processing facility. The role ensures that products meet technical specifications, quality standards, and delivery schedules while maintaining efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day factory operations in aluminum fabrication and glass processing.
• Allocate manpower and resources to meet production targets.
• Monitor machinery to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Implement continuous process improvements for productivity and cost savings.
• Inspect raw materials, in-process work, and finished products for quality.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Lead, train, and motivate factory staff to optimize performance.
• Enforce discipline, attendance, and company policies on the shop floor.
• Maintain a safe work environment, including proper use of PPE.
• Conduct safety audits and toolbox talks regularly.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal company policies.
• Prepare daily and weekly production reports for management.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for timely machine servicing.
• Liaise with procurement to ensure raw material availability.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in factory or production supervision (experience in glass or aluminum industry is an advantage).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of production planning, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Understanding of aluminum profile systems.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Basic computer skills; MS Office and ERP knowledge preferred.
