A leading company in Bahrain is looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee financial operations and reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports, statements, and projections.
- Manage automated accounting and financial reporting systems.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control following GAAP principles.
- Prepare profit and loss statements, monthly closing reports, and cost accounting reports.
- Review budgets, revenues, expenses, payroll entries, and invoices.
- Monitor monthly financial performance and compare it with the budget.
- Handle VAT filing, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet preparation.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate accounting staff.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent).
- 5-6 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of audit processes, VAT filing, and balance sheet preparation.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proactive team player with strong problem-solving skills.
