Job Overview:

A leading real estate developer in Bahrain is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer / Visual Merchandiser to design stylish and functional living and office spaces. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of aesthetics, knowledge of design trends, and experience in project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design modern and functional interiors for apartments and offices based on client needs.
• Develop design concepts, floor plans, and mood boards for presentations.
• Choose furniture, decor, and accessories that match the overall style and functionality.
• Prepare detailed design proposals including material selection, finishes, and budget estimates.
• Oversee projects from concept to completion, coordinating with contractors and vendors.
• Stay updated with interior design trends and best industry practices.
• Prepare presentations and design proposals for clients.
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors for the best pricing and timely delivery.
• Conduct site visits to assess layouts and take measurements.
• Create 3D renderings or virtual walkthroughs to showcase design ideas.
• Build and maintain relationships with furniture and decor suppliers.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to improve future designs.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of proven experience in interior design or visual merchandising.
• Strong creative vision and aesthetic sense.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and other design tools.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong project management and budgeting skills.
• Knowledge of furniture sourcing and procurement.
• Understanding of market trends and customer preferences.
• Valid Bahrain or GCC driving license.
