IT Administrator – Palo Alto Cortex, ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Pro | Bahrain

A leading technology company in Manama, Bahrain is seeking an experienced IT Administrator with expertise in Palo Alto Cortex, ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, cloud platforms, and IT infrastructure management. This role is ideal for a highly skilled IT professional with strong system administration, network management, and cybersecurity experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Palo Alto Cortex and Qualys agents on workstations, monitor logs, and ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Support ArcGIS software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, Portal) including licensing, setup, maintenance, backups, and security patching.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity recommendations from the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) to secure IT infrastructure, websites, and endpoints.
• Provide cloud administration on AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, backups, and server maintenance. Assist with infrastructure migration and create design documents for new cloud architecture.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Azure Active Directory, Intune, and Planner. Manage mailboxes, licenses, distribution lists, and user permissions.
• Provide on-site technical support for AVAYA telephony systems, virtual meetings (MS Teams, Zoom), and end-user issues.
• Support the development team with Asp.net, PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and React.js as needed.
• Manage server infrastructure, including Active Directory, Exchange (on-premises), file servers, web servers, VMware, Hyper-V, and DHCP services. Monitor system performance, apply updates, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity through regular backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Assist with Airable and Zendesk administration for smooth IT operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (mandatory). Other Microsoft and AWS certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in system and network administration, cloud platforms, IT support, and cybersecurity.
• Strong experience with ArcGIS platforms, server management, Microsoft 365 administration, cloud environments, and IT infrastructure security.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
