IT Manager – Hotel Industry (Manama, Bahrain)

A well-established hotel in Manama, Bahrain is looking for a skilled and proactive IT Manager to lead and manage all IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the hotel’s servers, networks, cloud services, internet, telecommunication systems, ERP, backups, and security systems.
• Ensure all IT systems run smoothly with minimal downtime.
• Manage IT projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and new technology rollouts.
• Provide technical support to staff across all departments.
• Maintain data privacy, network security, firewalls, VPNs, and disaster recovery systems.
• Ensure compliance with local IT regulations and hotel technology policies.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and corporate IT teams.
• Train hotel staff on IT procedures and new systems.
• Keep up with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
• Monitor and manage the IT budget, controlling related costs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
• Proven skills in managing IT infrastructure, networks, and servers.
• Experience with data centers, Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and cloud platforms.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management abilities.
• IT certifications (such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or ITIL) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
