A well-established construction company in Bahrain is looking for a dedicated Junior Admin Purchaser to support procurement and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure construction materials, tools, and equipment according to project needs
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to get quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain and update purchase orders, inventory records, and delivery schedules
- Assist in preparing purchase requisitions, comparative statements, and approval documents
- Communicate with project, store, and accounts teams to ensure smooth procurement processes
- Track material usage and align purchases with project timelines
- Keep accurate documentation and provide administrative support for procurement
- Ensure compliance with company policies and project procurement standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Procurement, or related field
- 3 to 5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in construction
- Good knowledge of construction materials and local/GCC vendor markets
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office and procurement software/tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
