Junior Planning Engineer – Civil (Bahrain)

A leading real estate developer in Bahrain is looking for a Junior Planning Engineer (Civil) to join the construction division. The role involves supporting project planning, scheduling, and monitoring to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or other scheduling tools.
• Prepare the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) based on construction drawings.
• Set work programs and target milestones for each phase of the project.
• Update work programs with actual progress, highlight areas of weakness, and propose recovery methods.
• Monitor and record on-site work progress and update schedules accordingly.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare progress reports, schedules, and presentations for management review.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution of activities.
• Analyze project data to identify trends and potential issues.
• Support resource allocation and cost control to optimize project efficiency.
• Track project progress against the baseline schedule and identify deviations.
• Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of schedule or scope changes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar planning software.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
