Junior Planning Engineer (Civil) – Real Estate Construction | Bahrain

A leading real estate developer in the Kingdom of Bahrain is hiring a Junior Planning Engineer (Civil) for its construction division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help create detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software.
• Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) based on construction drawings.
• Set project timelines and milestones for each construction phase.
• Prepare and submit updated work programs and track actual site progress.
• Identify weak areas and suggest recovery methods or alternative strategies.
• Monitor on-site work and keep records of real-time progress.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and presentations.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure timely task execution.
• Analyze project trends to detect potential delays or risks early.
• Assist with resource allocation to keep projects on time and within budget.
• Identify critical path activities and adjust plans when needed.
• Track progress against the baseline schedule and flag deviations.
• Support cost tracking to avoid budget overruns.
• Conduct sensitivity analysis for project planning decisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in project planning or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 or similar planning tools.
• Good understanding of construction project management and scheduling.
• Strong skills in data analysis and problem-solving.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills.
