Junior Planning Engineer – Construction Division – Manama, Bahrain

A leading real estate developer in Bahrain is seeking a Junior Planning Engineer to join the Construction Division. The role involves assisting with project scheduling, monitoring, and reporting to ensure timely completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or other scheduling software.
• Prepare the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) based on construction drawings.
• Set work programs and milestones for each project phase.
• Update schedules, track actual progress, and identify areas requiring recovery actions.
• Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed.
• Identify potential project risks and support mitigation strategies.
• Prepare progress reports and presentations for management.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely task execution.
• Analyze project data to identify trends, delays, or issues.
• Assist in resource allocation and leveling to optimize timelines and costs.
• Develop baseline schedules, identify critical path activities, and track deviations.
• Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess impacts of changes in project parameters.
• Monitor project costs and support cost-control measures.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in construction planning or project scheduling.
• Strong understanding of project planning and scheduling principles.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
