A leading real estate developer in Bahrain is seeking a Junior Planning Engineer to join the Construction Division. The role involves assisting with project scheduling, monitoring, and reporting to ensure timely completion of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or other scheduling software.
- Prepare the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) based on construction drawings.
- Set work programs and milestones for each project phase.
- Update schedules, track actual progress, and identify areas requiring recovery actions.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed.
- Identify potential project risks and support mitigation strategies.
- Prepare progress reports and presentations for management.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely task execution.
- Analyze project data to identify trends, delays, or issues.
- Assist in resource allocation and leveling to optimize timelines and costs.
- Develop baseline schedules, identify critical path activities, and track deviations.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess impacts of changes in project parameters.
- Monitor project costs and support cost-control measures.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in construction planning or project scheduling.
- Strong understanding of project planning and scheduling principles.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
