Junior Sales Executive – Decorative & Technical Paints (Bahrain)

A globally reputed paint brand in Bahrain is looking for a Junior Sales Executive to support sales and business development in the decorative and technical paints sector. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in retail and project sales, particularly in the paint or construction materials industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Assist in achieving sales targets for decorative and technical paints in retail and project sales.
  • Identify and engage potential clients, including contractors, architects, developers, and retailers.
  • Build strong client relationships by providing product recommendations and tailored solutions.
  • Maintain regular communication with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Market & Product Knowledge

  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s paint products, including their applications and benefits.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies.
  • Support promotional activities, in-store displays, and product demonstrations.

Sales Support & Reporting

  • Assist in preparing quotations, sales proposals, and contracts with senior sales team members.
  • Document sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-ups using CRM tools.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely product deliveries.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to improve knowledge and skills.

Key Requirements:

Experience & Industry Knowledge

  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in paint, coatings, or construction materials.
  • Prior experience in both retail and project sales is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the Bahrain market and customer base is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and negotiate with clients.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive in sales.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM software and sales reporting tools.
  • A valid Bahrain driving license is preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
