MEP Estimation Engineer (Full-Time) – Manama, Bahrain

We are looking for an experienced MEP Estimation Engineer to join our team in Bahrain. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and electrical systems. You’ll play a key role in cost planning, budgeting, and proposal preparation for various construction and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review MEP drawings and project specifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting).
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on project scope.
• Conduct accurate quantity take-offs for materials and equipment.
• Analyze material, labor, and equipment costs for budgeting and estimation.
• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations for cost efficiency.
• Ensure all MEP systems comply with local codes and standards.
• Build cost scenarios and assist with project feasibility assessments.
• Maintain updated pricing databases for materials and systems.
• Coordinate with planning, legal, and proposal teams on tenders and bids.
• Prepare detailed cost proposals for clients and management.
• Identify and assess potential project risks from a cost standpoint.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP estimation.
• Strong background in HVAC, plumbing, drainage, electrical, and firefighting systems.
• Solid knowledge of construction and MEP estimation software/tools.
• Familiar with local and international MEP standards and regulations.
• CRPEP License is mandatory.
• Must be currently located in Bahrain and ready to work full-time.

Salary:

• BD 500 to BD 600 per month (depending on experience and qualifications).
