Receptionist – Sitra, Bahrain


A growing company in Sitra is looking for a professional Receptionist to manage the front desk and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to support administrative tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk Management:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Determine the purpose of visits and guide guests to the appropriate person or department.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area.
  • Keep reception stocked with brochures, visitor information, and other materials.

Telephone Management:

  • Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally.
  • Take accurate messages and deliver them to the correct recipient.
  • Screen calls and route them appropriately.

Administrative Support:

  • Perform basic clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.
  • Maintain appointment calendars and records.
  • Manage office supplies and ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Assist with travel arrangements and bookings as needed.

Other Duties:

  • Support other departments with administrative tasks when required.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards colleagues and visitors.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Representative, or similar role.
  • Proficient with office equipment (multi-line phones, printers, scanners, fax).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and/or Arabic.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
