Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with ACCA or CMA certification to join our team in Bahrain. This role is open to local candidates as well as applicants from India. The ideal candidate will manage financial reporting, budgeting, and overall accounting operations while ensuring compliance with IFRS and VAT regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Maintain accurate general ledger and ensure timely month-end closings
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, VAT, and internal financial controls
• Provide financial insights and support to senior management
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff

Requirements

• Nationality: Indian
• Age: 32–37 years
• Minimum 9 years of accounting experience (GCC experience preferred)
• ACCA certification is required; CMA is a plus
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com / M.Com)
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, VAT, and financial controls
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
