A leading group company in Riffa, Bahrain is seeking a qualified Senior Accountant (Female) to independently manage all accounting and financial operations of its Trading and Contracting Division. This is a local recruitment; candidates must be currently residing in Bahrain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify invoices and process supplier payments.
- Follow up with customers and perform customer and supplier reconciliations.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of GL and sub-ledgers.
- Conduct ageing analysis of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory.
- Verify and post receipts and payments.
- Perform bank account reconciliations and intercompany account reconciliations.
- File VAT returns and maintain the assets register.
- Manage petty cash and liaise with internal divisions, banks, and external auditors.
- Handle accounts up to finalization and report to the Finance Manager.
Requirements:
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Commerce.
- Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, including at least 5 years as a Senior Accountant.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management and ability to work under deadlines.
- Nationality: Indian.
- Age: 35–45 years.
- Must be available locally in Bahrain.
