Senior Project Engineer – High Rise Projects

Location: Manama, Bahrain

Company Overview:
A leading construction company in Bahrain is looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to manage high-rise building projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to deliver projects on time while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily civil and structural construction activities to ensure work follows approved drawings, project specifications, and safety policies.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives for smooth project execution.
• Prepare daily site logs, weekly progress updates, and monthly performance reports.
• Monitor project schedules, identify potential delays, and prepare corrective action plans.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with QA/QC standards and building codes.
• Review shop drawings, technical submissions, and material approvals.
• Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards on site.
• Assist in cost control by tracking material usage and validating subcontractor work.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, supervisors, and site staff.
• Maintain accurate project records including RFIs, NCRs, as-built drawings, and reports.
• Represent the company in meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Support value engineering and continuous improvement in construction practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in civil supervision and project execution (residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure).
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, QA/QC processes, and local authority requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project scheduling tools (Primavera P6 or MS Project).
• Experience with contracts, technical documentation, and approval procedures.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• GCC experience and a valid driving license preferred.
