Senior Project Engineer (HVAC) – Commercial & Residential Projects | Bahrain

An established company in Bahrain is urgently hiring a Senior Project Engineer (HVAC) with experience in commercial and residential building projects.

Position: Senior Project Engineer (HVAC)
Location: Manama, Bahrain
Salary: BHD 600–800 (based on experience)

Job Overview:

The Senior Project Engineer will manage and oversee HVAC projects from design to commissioning. The role involves tender review, project planning, resource management, and ensuring quality and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents, drawings, and BOQs to prepare project plans.
• Develop and review HVAC shop drawings and secure consultant approvals.
• Select HVAC equipment, analyze supplier quotations, and prepare material submittals.
• Perform HVAC calculations such as heat load, external static pressure, and pump head.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
• Prepare method statements, ITPs, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with electrical, architectural, and civil teams for smooth execution.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and variations in scope.
• Ensure compliance with CRPEP Bahrain standards and quality plans.
• Compile all project documentation including as-built drawings and O&M manuals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 12–15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in the Gulf region.
• Must be registered with CRPEP Bahrain or eligible for registration.
• Proficiency in HVAC software (HAP, Duct/Pipe Sizer, Psychrometric Chart Analyzer).
• Strong communication, planning, and leadership skills.
