A leading construction company in Bahrain is seeking an organized and reliable Site Storekeeper to manage materials and equipment on the construction site efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect all incoming materials:
- Verify quantity and quality of deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
- Inspect materials for damage or defects and report any discrepancies.
- Organize and store materials in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage and theft.
- Use proper storage methods to protect materials from the elements (e.g., rain, sun).
- Maintain a clean and organized storage area.
- Track material issuances and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure materials are issued only to authorized personnel with proper documentation.
- Conduct regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Prepare and maintain inventory reports.
- Monitor material usage and identify potential shortages or overages.
- Coordinate with suppliers for material deliveries.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations on the construction site.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the storage area.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience as a Storekeeper or similar role in construction.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, inventory management software).
- Excellent communication skills (English & Hindi).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- GCC experience and valid GCC driving license required.
