Telehandler Operator – Manama, Bahrain

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Telehandler Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for safely operating telehandlers to move materials, goods, and equipment at construction sites and other locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate telehandler to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to designated areas
• Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and place them safely
• Inspect and maintain the telehandler regularly, reporting any problems immediately
• Follow all safety rules and company policies to maintain a safe work environment
• Coordinate with site managers, contractors, and workers to move materials as scheduled
• Assist in loading and unloading construction materials on job sites
• Perform basic maintenance checks such as oil, fuel, and tire pressure
• Keep accurate records of material movements and usage

Requirements:

• Valid telehandler certification or relevant operator’s license
• Proven experience operating telehandlers, preferably in construction or industrial settings
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
• Ability to read and follow instructions such as blueprints and plans
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Ability to work in different weather conditions and physical environments
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and equipment
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other heavy equipment like forklifts, cranes, or backhoes
• Knowledge of construction materials and methods
• First Aid or other safety certifications
