Urgent Hiring – MEP Draftsman – Manama, Bahrain

A company in Manama, Bahrain is seeking a skilled MEP Draftsman to prepare accurate and detailed shop drawings and support MEP project design and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare shop drawings for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and ELV systems according to project specifications.
• Study IFC drawings and project requirements to create drawings for consultant approval.
• Design building layouts, equipment placements, lighting, power systems, UPS, and ELV systems.
• Create section, elevation, and installation detail drawings for cable trays and other electrical installations.
• Prepare as-built drawings and O&M manuals upon project completion.
• Ensure compliance with Bahrain EWA regulations in all designs.
• Calculate cable sizes, voltage drops, and prepare bills of material.
• Coordinate with engineers and managers to obtain shop drawing approvals.
• Assist in checking, revising, and filing all technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in MEP Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or hotel projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and 3D MAX software.
• Ability to produce accurate, clear plans and detailed drawings based on engineer instructions.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, codes, and project specifications.
