Are you an experienced Safety Officer looking for a new opportunity? We are hiring a qualified professional to ensure workplace safety, risk management, and compliance with health and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Workplace Inspections: Regularly inspect worksites to ensure safety measures are in place and risks are minimized.
• Incident Investigation: Analyze accidents and injuries, document reports, and suggest solutions to prevent future incidents.
• Safety Reports: Maintain HSE statistics and submit reports to the relevant authorities.
• Protective Equipment: Select appropriate safety gear for employees to reduce workplace hazards.
• Fire Safety Monitoring: Ensure fire prevention systems and extinguishers are in proper working condition.
• Equipment Checks: Conduct regular inspections of health, safety, and environmental equipment and keep records updated.
• Risk Assessment: Identify workplace hazards and implement preventive measures.
• Employee Training: Develop and execute safety awareness programs through seminars, posters, and training sessions.
• Safety Committee Management: Prepare and organize Occupational Safety and Health Committee meetings.
• Emergency Authority: Stop any hazardous work that poses a risk to workers.
• Facility Maintenance: Oversee factory cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance of worker accommodations.
• Transport Supervision:
  • Manage transportation schedules and delivery coordination.
  • Keep records of vehicle maintenance and transport logs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree, Engineering, or Diploma in a relevant field.

Skills & Knowledge

• Understanding of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Experience in risk assessment and environmental impact analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Experience

• Prior work experience as a Safety & Environmental Officer.

Certifications & Training

• OHSAS 18001/ISO 14001 awareness training.
• Risk assessment and environmental impact assessment certification.
• Other HSE-related courses.
