Job Summary:
We are looking for a Storekeeper – Inventory to manage the stock of medications and medical supplies in our hospital pharmacy. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate tracking, proper storage, and timely replenishment of inventory while following healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain stock levels of medications and medical supplies to ensure they are accurate and available.
- Receiving & Inspection: Check deliveries to ensure the correct quantity and quality of products.
- Stock Rotation: Follow the FIFO (First In, First Out) method for perishable items and properly store temperature-sensitive medications.
- Order Management: Coordinate with the procurement team to reorder stock, preventing shortages or excess inventory.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for controlled substances and maintain the safe storage of all products.
- Reporting: Keep accurate records of inventory and prepare reports for management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory management, preferably in a healthcare or pharmacy setting.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medical supplies, and healthcare regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
