A growing general trading company in Manama is urgently seeking a qualified General Accountant / Purchaser. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals currently residing in Bahrain to join a dynamic and expanding team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing financial information
• Record and document financial transactions accurately
• Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports
• Audit and substantiate financial transactions
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Reconcile financial discrepancies and ensure accuracy of records
• Secure financial data through database backups and internal controls
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements

Job Requirements:

• Fluent in English (spoken and written) with experience managing accounts in English
• Age between 30 to 35 years
• Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, including:
  • Completing the full accounting cycle
  • Costing and financial statement preparation
  • Preparing balance sheets
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (English Section)
• Driver’s license preferred
• Professional behavior, good conduct, and non-smoker
